Annie Sloan Fabric Collection
Inspiration
Aubusson Blue and Provence Bureau
All Annie Sloan products are made to work together. Annie painted this bureau with Chalk Paint® colours to tie in with the fabrics and Wall Paint next to it.
Annie began by painting the bureau all over in Chalk Paint® in Provence and, once dry, added a coat of Aubusson Blue on top. While the Aubusson Blue was still wet, she wiped the wet paint back to reveal areas of Provence underneath. Inside the desk, she highlighted the back sections using a bright array of colours to match the curtains she had made in her Piano in Provence fabric. The piece is finished with Clear and Black Chalk Paint® Wax. |
