Bold brush strokes and rich shades of blues, greens, and terra cotta draw your eye to look more closely at this original work of art dated 1965. This piece is a scene from Perugia, Italy and is signed in the bottomright corner of this watercolor but I've never been able to make out the signature.
The image is solidly in place in the frame with no slippage however the top half of the mat, particularly on the left, is a bit discolored (see last pic).
