Sherri Andrews is an artist based in Princeton, NJ. She works primarily with alcohol inks which are an acid-free, highly-pigmented medium that produces vibrant color. For this seascape, the background of the image was first painted then the artist created a 'pour' adding the blues, greens, and white at the same time and moving the paint to create an image of the sea that has depth and a sense of movement.
