This beautiful table was simple and plain when we brought it into our refinishing studio. We base coated the table in a dark red then painted over it with dark blue. Next, we applied clear wax then applied a dry wash of a second, lighter blue. The center detail on the top and shelf were painted in an off-white and we added a dark wax to highlight the crackled top. On the edges and details we hand applied gold leaf then added patina to the gold with a bleach patina technique.
This table is truly one-of-a-kind statement piece.
