Has something ever caught your eye and you can't get it out of your head? That's what I experienced when Paul pointed out this pair of paintings while we were out one day. I can't put my finger on it, but they feel mystical, maybe religious, definitely joyful, and there's something peaceful about them. These are newer paintings but the artist created them on reclaimed floorboards so there are dents and damage creating a feel like they've been around forever. They're warm. They're also large, so they make a really dramatic statement on the wall. We made one modification when we acquired them, they had an odd hanging bar on the back so we replaced them with heavy duty D-rings and wire and as you can see from the photos, they hang beautifully.
