Vintage, circa 1940-1950 solid oak carved spiral / barley twist column pedestal or plant stand. This tall pedestal is sturdy, solid and heavy. The square top and bottom both measure 14" x 14" square and the overall height is 42.25".
Great for sculpture or as a plant stand - which was its original intended use as you can see from the tag on the bottom which refers to this piece as a 'fern stand.'
