1950s Hollywood Regency Marble Top Chest of Drawers
The perfect chest of drawers for a bedroom, a foyer, or even as a buffet piece for the dining room, this Gustavian style commode is absolutely beautiful. In our studio, we refurbished this piece in creamy white and a color named Scandinavian Pink, which seemed a perfect choice for a commode of this style.
Two generous drawers, original drawer pulls, the engaging color, and the marble top make this a spectacular statement piece. The top is Belgian marble and is a beautiful creamy ivory color with soft tans and just a hint of pink with no cracks or chips.
The body of the piece shows its vintage with some dings and wear (see an example on the last close up) but the beautiful lines and details of this chest of drawers makes it really special and easy to overlook any flaws.
